Proverb of the day :- There is no royal road to learning

Meaning / example :-
Knowledge and learning cannot be gained without hard work. When a queen or king, or a president or prime minister (in modern terms), makes a journey the road is cleared of all obstacles so that the way is swift and unobstructed. The’royal road’ is a comfortable and easy path to take. Not many people use this proverb in everyday speech, but the sentiment would be readily acknowledged by most.
