Proverb of the day :- Jack of all trades, master of none

Meaning / example :-
It is better to concentrate on learning one profession than trying to become an expert at many different jobs. Or, directed at someone, you aren’t particularly good at any of the many tasks you seem to undertake Trades, in this context,means a job such as a carpenter, plumber or builder et cetera and the proverb tells us that trying our hand at all the trades will make us unable to master any of them. Highly skilled trades people are often called Master Builders,Master Carpenters, Master Craftsmen and so on.
