No matter how long and boring or difficult your day may be, it will come to an end eventually. Obviously, all days, literally, must come to an end. This proverb is not frequently used in day to day speech and, in fact, many English speakers may not have heard of it. Though, like many such proverbs, most people will be familiar with the sentiment.
